In Saturday's non-league outing, the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) basketball squad edged the host Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), by a count of 55-51.

The Flyers (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ethan (Ethan, SD). The Rustlers go into the non-league outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Ethan held off Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD), 66-64, in a non-league outing.
