Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) and the host Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), saw South County's basketball squad overcome Nokomis by a tally of 48-38.

With the victory, South County improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Vipers host Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL) to confront the Minutemen in a MSM challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 8-17. Bunker Hill lost 51-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL)

Next up, the Redskins confront the Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL) in a MSM test, on Friday, February 2. Nokomis will attempt to advance on its 11-14 season record.
