Norland Vikings (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Miami Stingarees (Miami, FL), 79-77 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Norland upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Jupiter Christian (Jupiter, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Jupiter Christian won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Park Vista (Lake Worth, FL)

Next up, the Stingarees play the Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Miami will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Mighty Dragons go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 64-50 non-league loss to Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL).
