December 29, 2023: Brusly, LA 70719 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) and the visiting Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA), saw Brusly's basketball squad hold off Bourgeois by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Brusly improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-2.
Coming up next, the Braves battle the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a 5A District 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 2. Bourgeois will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 13-6 record after their 71-51 non-league win over Lutcher (Lutcher, LA).
