The Marshall Redhawks basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Portage Central Mustangs to 22 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Redhawks now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a Southwestern Michigan - East contest on Friday, January 21. Marshall will confront a Spartans team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.
