Oklahoma High School Basketball - Fort Gibson overwhelms Locust Grove
January 9, 2018: Fort Gibson, OK 74434 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) and the visiting Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK), saw Fort Gibson's basketball squad wallop Locust Grove by a count of 66-38.
With the victory, Fort Gibson upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hilldale (Muskogee, OK) to play the Hornets in a Verdigris Valley challenge on Friday, January 12. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Pirates play the Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK) in a Verdigris Valley challenge, on Friday, January 12. Locust Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 50-48 league loss to Verdigris (Claremore, OK).
