March 11, 2024: Taylorsville, NC 28681 Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maiden for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. Alexander Central will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-2 league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.
