Texas High School Soccer - Centennial overwhelmed by Prosper
January 18, 2022: Prosper, TX 75078 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) and the visiting Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX), saw Prosper's soccer squad triumph over Centennial by a margin of 7-0.
The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Little Elm for a 6A Region 1 District 5 test on Tuesday, January 25. Prosper will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Ryan (Denton, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Centennial drops to 1-2 on the season. The Spartans host South Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to meet the Scorpions in a non-league test on Thursday, January 20. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 5-2. South Hills won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX)
