In Friday's league game, the Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS) football team smashed the visiting Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS), by a final score of 42-7.

The Red Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the 4A Region 1 game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Itawamba Agricultural was trounced by Ripley (Ripley, MS), 38-6, in a league game.
