Oregon High School Volleyball - Waldport Taft
August 31, 2023: Lincoln City, OR 97367 The Taft Tigers topped the visiting Waldport Irish volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a 3A PacWest test on Tuesday, September 5. Taft will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
The Irish (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Toledo (Toledo, OR). The Boomers enter the 2A Valley Coast game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Toledo dropped by Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR), 3-0, in a non-league game.
