California High School Basketball - Birmingham overwhelms Taft

January 25, 2022: Woodland Hills, CA 91364

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) and the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), saw Birmingham's basketball squad wallop Taft by a tally of 65-26.

With the victory, Birmingham improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA) to confront the Chancellors in a West Valley challenge on Thursday, January 27. The Chancellors come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Chatsworth lost 50-35 in their recent league challenge against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)

Next up, the Toreadors confront the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) in a West Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 27. Taft will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 57-16 league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA).
