California High School Basketball - Terra Nova can't hold off Jefferson
January 14, 2022: Pacifica, CA 94044 The Jefferson Grizzlies basketball team scored 28 points and held the host Terra Nova Tigers to 23 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South San Francisco for a contest on Wednesday, January 19. Jefferson will battle a Warriors team coming off a 47-17 non-league loss to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The FIGHTING KNIGHTS enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Hillsdale nudged San Mateo (San Mateo, CA), 47-17, in a league contest.
