Utah High School Basketball - Salt Lake Academy succumbs to Summit Academy

The Summit Academy Bears topped the visiting Salt Lake Academy Griffins basketball team by a final score of 52-36 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) in a 3A Region 15 game, on Thursday, February 2. Summit Academy will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 52-44 league loss to Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT).

With the defeat, Salt Lake Academy moves to 6-7 on the year. The Griffins travel to Providence Hall (Herriman, UT) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, February 6. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 3-17. Providence Hall lost 85-32 in their recent league game against Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT)
