Alabama High School Basketball - Macon-East Montgomery Academy ripped by Glenwood
January 6, 2022: Cecil, AL 36013 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Glenwood Gators basketball team scored a decisive 61-30 triumph over the Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights.
In their next game, the Gators meet the Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 8. Glenwood will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 12-0 record after their 57-51 league win over Valwood (Valdosta, GA).
With the defeat, Macon-East Montgomery Academy moves to 12-3 on the year. The Knights host Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL) to meet the Rebels in a AISA AA Region 1 Area 1 match on Tuesday, January 11. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 1-5. Chambers Academy lost 67-41 in their recent non-league match against Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL)
