Hawaii High School Basketball - Kailua overwhelms Kaiser
January 12, 2024: Kailua, HI 96734 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kailua Surfriders (Kailua, HI) and the visiting Kaiser Cougars (Honolulu, HI), saw Kailua's basketball squad wallop Kaiser by a count of 62-31.
With the victory, Kailua upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Surfriders travel to Moanalua (Honolulu, HI) to play the Menehune in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Menehune come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Moanalua won 47-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Kalaheo (Kailua, HI)
Next up, the Cougars play the Kahuku Red Raiders (Kahuku, HI) in a Oahu I - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Kaiser will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 71-38 league win over Roosevelt (Honolulu, HI).
