Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Evanston upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wildkits host Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 9. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-7.
