In Saturday's non-league game, the Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), by a margin of 12-0.

With the triumph, Krum moves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to clash with the Buffalos in a non-league game on Thursday, February 29. The Buffalos come into the game with a record of 2-10.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 game, on Tuesday, March 12. Ponder will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
