Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA), 74-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Salinas upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Palma (Salinas, CA) to play the Chieftains in a Tri-County bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Condors play the Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. North Monterey County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 72-34 non-league loss to Monterey (Monterey, CA).
