Kansas High School Basketball - Jackson Heights topped by Hiawatha
January 29, 2022: Hiawatha, KS 66434 The Hiawatha Red Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Jackson Heights Cobras to 40 in the Red Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nemaha Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Hiawatha will battle a Thunder team coming off a 50-27 non-league win over Lansing (Lansing, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 9-4.
The Cobras (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Horton (Horton, KS). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Horton was defeated by Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS), 36-33, in a league contest.
