Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), 63-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Harrison upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Hoyas travel to Hiram (Hiram, GA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Hiram won 72-63 in their recent non-league bout against Greer (Greer, SC)

Next up, the Lions confront the Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, January 3. Central will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record.
