Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV), 54-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Palo Verde upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Silverado (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Skyhawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Silverado lost 75-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Patriots battle the Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 48-46 non-league loss to Needles (Needles, CA).
