Maryland High School Basketball - Patuxent nips McDonough
February 2, 2018: Lusby, MD 20657 Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 50-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Patuxent upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD) to play the Hurricanes in a Southern Maryland bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Huntingtown lost 79-64 in their recent league bout against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
Next up, the Rams play the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Monday, February 5. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 54-51 league loss to La Plata (La Plata, MD).
