Florida High School Basketball - American Heritage overwhelmed by Coral Springs Charter
January 12, 2016: Coral Springs, FL 33065 The Coral Springs Charter Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting American Heritage Stallions to 29 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pope John Paul II for a 4A District 13 contest on Thursday, January 14. Coral Springs Charter will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-41 league loss to North Broward Prep (Coconut Creek, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.
The Stallions (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Pine Crest was routed by Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach, FL), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
