November 12, 2021: Wells, TX 75976 Douglass Indians (Douglass, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wells Pirates (Wells, TX), 60-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Douglass upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Gary (Gary, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 16. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Gary lost 58-44 in their recent non-league bout against Woden (Woden, TX)
Next up, the Pirates play the Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 16. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Hudson (Lufkin, TX).
