The Canton Eagles held off the visiting Ford Panthers football team by a final score of 24-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Canton improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles host Lindale (Lindale, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, October 28. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 7-1. Lindale won 50-43 in their recent league battle against Van (Van, TX)
