The May River Sharks topped the visiting James Island Trojans football team by a count of 35-18 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, May River upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Sharks travel to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC) to confront the Bobcats in a AAAA Region 7 outing on Friday, October 8. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Bluffton won 55-30 in their recent league outing against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC)
