The Franklin Patriots basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Thurston Eagles to 23 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plymouth Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Catholic Central ran past Erie-Mason (Erie, MI), 50-35, in a non-league contest.
