Connecticut High School Basketball - St. Joseph holds off New Canaan
February 14, 2024: Trumbull, CT 06611 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) and the visiting New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad hold off New Canaan by a tally of 62-57.
With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Cadets host Staples (Westport, CT) to confront the Wreckers in a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, February 19. The Wreckers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Staples won 86-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Bassick (Bridgeport, CT)
Next up, the Rams confront the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Monday, February 19. New Canaan will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 74-66 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
