December 9, 2023: Rocky River, OH 44116 Thomas Worthington CARDINALS (Worthington, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH), 49-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Thomas Worthington upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The CARDINALS travel to Centennial (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Stars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Metro bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lutheran West will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 59-22 league win over Independence (Independence, OH).
