Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders face the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) in a 6A Area 4 challenge, on Friday, March 3. Riverwood will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Berkmar (Lilburn, GA).
