West Virginia High School Basketball - Ripley crushes Point Pleasant

December 1, 2022: Ripley, WV 25271

Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 67-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings host Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Big Blacks play the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 62-36 non-league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV).
