McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Barberton Magics (Barberton, OH), 52-20 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, McDowell improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host North Allegheny (Wexford, PA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-0. North Allegheny won 30-6 in their recent league test against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA)

With the loss, Barberton drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Magics travel to Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH) to confront the Blue Devils in a Suburban - American test on Friday, September 8. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-2. Tallmadge lost 41-14 in their recent non-league test against Green (Uniontown, OH)
