Oregon High School Basketball - Horizon Christian knocked off by Yamhill-Carlton
January 5, 2022: Yamhill, OR 97148 The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Horizon Christian Hawks to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banks for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7. Yamhill-Carlton will meet a Braves team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Braves record now stands at 9-4.
The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR). The Knights enter the 3A Lewis & Clark contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, De La Salle North Catholic was outscored by Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR), 57-51, in a league contest.
