The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes the visiting Hope Christian Huskies softball squad by a final score of 8-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Elks/Elkettes (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Bloomfield was routed by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Huskies now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Bernalillo for a 4A District 6 battle on Tuesday, March 28. Hope Christian will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 11-8 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 4-6.
