The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Esparto Spartans to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacramento Adventist for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Valley will meet a Capitals team coming off a 42-33 non-league win over Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA). The Capitals record now stands at 4-0.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Golden Sierra was routed by Foresthill (Foresthill, CA), 50-43, in a non-league contest.
