The Myers Park Mustangs topped the host Rocky River Ravens basketball team by a final score of 65-52 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a Southwestern 4A game, on Friday, January 29. Myers Park will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 14-5 record after their 80-73 league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Rocky River moves to 6-13 on the year. The Ravens host East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a Southwestern 4A test on Friday, January 29. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-11. East Mecklenburg lost 65-59 in their recent league test against Independence (Charlotte, NC)
