In Saturday's non-league match, the host Rampart Rams basketball team scored a good 64-54 triumph over the Sand Creek Scorpions.

In their next game, the Rams meet the Coronado Cougars (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 5A Colorado Springs Metro match, on Tuesday, February 2. Rampart will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-16 record after their 58-54 league loss to Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO).

With the defeat, Sand Creek moves to 9-8 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO) to meet the Kadets in a 4A Pikes Peak match on Wednesday, February 3.
