Illinois High School Basketball - East Dubuque holds off South Beloit
December 14, 2021: South Beloit, IL 61080 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL) and the host South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL), saw East Dubuque's basketball squad hold off South Beloit by a tally of 32-30.
With the victory, East Dubuque advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to encounter the Saints in a non-league test on Monday, December 27. The Saints go into the test with a record of 0-5.
The Sobos now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Oregon for a non-league test on Saturday, December 18. South Beloit will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 64-21 non-league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
