The Cedar Cliff Colts thwarted the host Red Lion Lions football team by a count of 56-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cedar Cliff upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Colts host Cocalico (Denver, PA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 2. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Cocalico won 36-21 in their recent non-league outing against Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA)

With the loss, Red Lion moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA) to confront the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, September 3. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Waynesboro lost 25-20 in their recent non-league outing against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA)
