In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hillsboro Trojans basketball team scored a good 48-34 triumph over the Minneapolis Lions.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Haven Wildcats (Haven, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Hillsboro will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record.

With the defeat, Minneapolis moves to 11-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Sacred Heart (Salina, KS) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
