Oklahoma High School Basketball - Piedmont nips Noble
January 18, 2024: Noble, OK 73068 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) and the host Noble Bears (Noble, OK), saw Piedmont's basketball squad nip Noble by a margin of 40-36.
The Wildcats (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Mustang (Mustang, OK). The Broncos go into the 6A District 1 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Mustang got by Capitol Hill (Oklahoma City, OK), 61-13, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Altus for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Noble will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 82-34 non-league loss to MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
