Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL) and the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), saw Rock Falls's basketball squad hold off Freeport by a tally of 59-56.

With the victory, Rock Falls improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Rockets host Orion (Orion, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Orion won 58-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL)
