California High School Basketball - Cupertino tipped by Sequoia

The Sequoia Cherokee basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Cupertino Pioneers to 37 in the Cherokee non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cherokee now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart Cathedral for a non-league contest on Monday, December 7. Sequoia will meet a Fightin' Irish team coming off a 68-67 non-league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 1-0.

The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Mills nudged Independence (San Jose, CA), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
