Texas High School Basketball - Dimmitt nips Lamesa
January 21, 2022: Dimmitt, TX 79027 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) and the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX), saw Dimmitt's basketball squad hold off Lamesa by a count of 41-36.
With the victory, Dimmitt upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the Tornadoes play the Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, January 28. Lamesa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record.
