In Thursday's league contest, the Heritage Hawks (Broadlands, IL) volleyball squad edged the visiting Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 25. Heritage will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Purple Riders come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL).

With the loss, Okaw Valley drops to 12-8 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh (Oakland, IL) to battle the Titans in a Lincoln Prairie contest on Tuesday, September 28.
