Iowa High School Baseball - Prairie City-Monroe loses to Atlantic
June 27, 2023: Atlantic, IA 50022 The Atlantic Trojans crushed the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs baseball team by a count of 11-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 10-13 record. They take the field next when they host Red Oak for a non-league bout on Thursday, June 29. Atlantic will face a Tigers team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-12.
Next, the Mustangs face the South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, June 28. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 8-12 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to West Marshall (State Center, IA).
