New York High School Lacrosse - Smithtown East held off by Smithtown West
March 22, 2024: Smithtown, NY 11787 Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Smithtown East Bulls (Smithtown, NY), 8-7 in a league battle.
The now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Babylon for a non-league battle on Monday, March 25.
In their next game, the Bulls clash with the Bay Shore Marauders (Bay Shore, NY) in a Section 11 I battle, on Tuesday, March 26. Smithtown East will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Marauders come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 10-5 league win over Sachem North (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY).
