The Marshall Academy Griffons basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Jackson Preparatory & Early College Falcons to 30 in the Griffons league triumph on Friday.

The Griffons now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Marshall Academy will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 75-49 league loss to Homer (Homer, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.

The Falcons (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun Christian (Battle Creek, MI). The Cougars enter the Mid-South contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Calhoun Christian triumphed over Pansophia Academy (Coldwater, MI), 70-19, in a league contest.
