Florida High School Basketball - Freedom fells Robinson

January 7, 2022: Tampa, FL 33616

Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Robinson Knights (Tampa, FL), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Freedom upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL) to clash with the Bulls in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Bulls go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Wiregrass Ranch lost 75-66 in their recent league bout against Hillsborough (Tampa, FL)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Jesuit Tigers (Tampa, FL) in a 5A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 65-43 non-league win over Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL).
