The Dixie Greyhounds football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks to 27 in the Greyhounds league victory on Friday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansonia for a Western Ohio battle on Friday, September 1. Dixie will face a Tigers squad coming off a 56-0 non-league win over Covington (Covington, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Blackhawks face the Arcanum Trojans (Arcanum, OH) in a Western Ohio battle, on Friday, September 1. Mississinawa Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 42-13 league loss to Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH).
